The Phantom of the Opera is Here...
'Phantom' has been running in London's West End for almost 39 years. It first opened at His Majesty's Theatre on September 27th 1986. To date, Phantom is the highest grossing West End show.
The gripping storyline, based on Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel, is set in the Paris Opera House. It tells of a love triangle between Christine - a young soprano, Raoul her childhood sweetheart, and the Phantom - a masked, disfigured musical genius who lives in the catacombs of the Opera House. Together with Andrew Lloyd-Webber's dramatic score, this wonderful musical looks set to continue for years to come.
Join the Let's Sing Pop-Up Choir as we spend the day singing highlights from this well loved musical, including The Phantom of the Opera, Think of Me, Angel of Music, All I Ask of You, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again and The Point of No Return.
🟣 Open to all adults who simply love to sing.
🟣 All songs are taught and sung with simple but effective harmonies.
🟣 No previous choir experience or music reading skills required.
The day will be led by choir leader and founder, Jane Bibb who keeps the sessions friendly and fun.
